Editing Fun

So I've spent my night playing around in Picasa (which is awesome!).  I decided I'd share some of my favorite pictures with you. There's kind of a lot, but just remember that this isn't even close to how many I actually edited. And it took a lot for me to get my favorites down to only 15! (I think that's how many there is. Feel free to count if you want.)

These first few are from last November when Ilse, Jamie, Tayna and I went to Oregon for Alli's wedding. It was the fastest trip EVER! But it was way fun, and so worth it!

These next few are of my favorite baby girl...Beckah! I miss getting to hang out with her all the time!

Elise, me, and Aubrey at Cold Stone on free ice cream day!

Pike's Market in Seattle

Okay, this one wasn't supposed to actually happen. I'd set my camera down on Mom's table and accidentally pushed the button. I thought it turned out neat, so I kept it. :)

These next two are the kids I was a nanny for 3 years ago in Indiana. Sadie was 9 and Doug was 7, and they were so much fun! I miss them so much, but hopefully will get to go visit for Sadie's Bat Mitsvah (sp?) in February. These were at the zoo in Fort Wayne.

Weekend Fun! aka A Wedding!

This weekend was awesome! Partly because it started on Wednesday when I got to go to Logan and play with Megs, Lace, Elise, Fitch, Matt, and James. Then on Thursday Megs, Lace and I headed down to Salt Lake (Elise and Fitch had left earlier that morning) and we definitely had some good times on the drive...and before going to bed that night. :) Friday was Brock and Aubrey's wedding, which was so gorgeous! It made for a very long, but fun day. We ended the weekend by going to the zoo, eating delicious food at Hire's, ice cream at Jordan Landing, and a walk around the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. Oh, and a visit to Fitch since he couldn't make it to the zoo with us. It was so, so fun, and definitely a needed break from just sitting around at home trying to decide what to do!

Moving

I hate moving. Well, not necessisarily moving; more the process of packing and unpacking. It took me 3 weeks to get everything packed to move home for the summer. Of course, part of that reason is because I still had classes, etc. Friday I spent 2 hours stuffing everything into suitcases, and plastic bins; and I even had to resort to garbage bags because I ran out of room in everything else. Where did I get so much stuff?! Anyway, my point is, I just hate how much time it takes. I got home around 4:45pm today. Dad and I hauled all my stuff in and this is what my room looked like:
Since I'd spent so much time packing everything, I didn't start to unpack any of it right away. I played the piano some, ate dinner, and every now and then I'd come look at the mess and think about how I really should do something about it. Especially since I wanted a bed to sleep on tonight! So around 6 I finally got going on it. Three hours later (a little more actually since it was almost 9:30!) I got it to look like this:

I know there's still a box full of stuff, but that's a box I didn't even take to school this year. I'm sure in my 3 weeks of nothing to do before Mill Hollow starts that I'll find something to do with it. I'm kinda sick of it just sitting there. Guess we'll see how ambitious I get this summer....
