Summer=awesome! I'm loving it. I'm still not used to being in the temps above 75* on a daily basis, but I am loving being in Logan for the summer. The part I'm not loving is the being grown up part. I hate that rent and loan payments had to take priority over going to Lagoon with friends, and ultimately the trip to New York I wanted to take in a few weeks. :( Guess now I'll just go visit Mill Hollow that week instead. Which isn't bad; in fact, I miss it like crazy on a daily basis! But let's be honest, it's not New York. Hopefully things like that won't hinder my trip to Ireland planned for next summer.
Anyway, this has been a pretty epic summer. Jessie and I went to Lagoon with Lydia and went on the Tilt-a-Whirl 4 times in a row, partly because the third time was kinda lame (we couldn't get our car to whirl) and more because the ride attendant was super good looking. Plus, every time he'd get to our car to check the restraint thingy, he'd smile, wink and tell us to have fun. We also noticed that he didn't do that at every car. Yeah, he was flirting with us. :) Then, Jessie and I went back the next Saturday for bounce back. That was awesome. We went on Tilt-a-Whirl 4 times again, but super good looking guy wasn't there. :( We had mostly forgotten about him until he all of a sudden there he was, checking the restraint thingy for Dracula's Castle! We both realized it was him, looked at each other, and then back at him. We're pretty sure he recognized us (let's be honest, we were a little creepy going on his ride 4 times in a row the week before) because he did the whole, smile, wink, and have fun thing again. In his super attractive accent. Jessie and I were about ready to die from holding in our laughter, and when we finally got through the first door away from the ride attendants, we just let it out. And then laughed about it for the whole ride. And pretty much the rest of the night. :) Yep, epic!
The weekend of the 4th was pretty awesome. Jessie and I went up to the fireworks at the stadium with Matt and Ryan. Actually, we met some of Matt's friends up there. The fireworks were awesome! It was like front row seats without having to pay to be
in the stadium. I hung out with Matt and Ryan again that Saturday, and then on Monday Nick and Christina joined us for an awesome steak dinner. And we did our own fireworks.
Last weekend my cousins, Andy and Leza, had their baby blessed. Luke and Lacey both held him. Think maybe I'll get a niece or nephew now?
Last, but not least, work is as good as ever! I just love those cute kids!
